Letter to the Jackson (MS) Community

Dear Jackson (MS) Metro Area,

As I begin my second tenure as the Polemarch (President) of the Jackson (MS) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., I want to remind you of our commitment and dedication to the citizens of Jackson, MS. I believe our role in the community to be a significant one as we serve to build better lives for ourselves and those around us. Jackson, MS, like our fraternity, has a strong cultural history of providing opportunities for those seeking prosperity, regardless of their color, religion, or national origin.  Our fundamental purpose – achievement in every field of human endeavor – means we pursue excellence and are committed to uplifting our members, African-American youth, and those underserved and underrepresented in the Jackson, MS Metro area.

We, the brothers of the Jackson (MS) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. are in Jackson, MS to stay. We are committed to improving the lives of our members, community youth, and those underserved/underrepresented community members. The positive economic and social impact on the community will be tremendous.  We hope the city of Jackson, Hinds, Madison and adjourning counties leaders, and their constituents are ready and willing to continue supporting our vital, dynamic organization.

Sincerely,

Ramon L. Jackson
